Academic Honors Team

The WFSF has established an annual Academic Honors Team to give recognition to the hard work of the WSC skaters both on and off the ice. To qualify for the team, the skaters must show academic excellence and a commitment to figure skating. Each year an outstanding middle and high school skater are selected from the team to receive a financial reward. The first team received recognition in 2007. All team members receive a certificate and pin to acknowledge their achievement and their schools are notified. Congratulations to the whole team!

Who Is Eligible?

All figure skaters who are members of the Wissahickon Skating Club are eligible. Applications for the 2010 award will be out in December and are due back in March 2010. Awards will be announced in April 2010. For more information email: aht@wfsfund.org.
